Join us in strengthening cyber security across an international healthcare organization

At Abacus Medicine Group, security comes first. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our IT Security & Compliance team and help develop and operate our Security Operations capability based on the Microsoft Security platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid IT operations background who enjoys investigating problems, understanding root causes, and taking ownership of solutions in a modern Microsoft environment.

What you will do:

Develop and operate our Security Operations function (SOC)

Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents

Manage and optimize Microsoft security technologies, including:

Microsoft Sentinel

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

Microsoft Defender for Cloud

Microsoft Defender for Identity

Perform security assessments and identify vulnerabilities

Drive root-cause analysis and implement long-term improvements

Work closely with IT Operations, IT Support, and other stakeholders across the business

Maintain security documentation, procedures, and policies

Support security awareness and best-practice adoption across IT teams

Stay current on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.

What were looking for:

Around 3+ years of relevant experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, Network Administration, System Administration, or IT Security

Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure environments

Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and operational security processes

Good understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive them through to resolution

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Genuine interest in operational cyber security.
