The Chair of functional materials for medicine and dentistry at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU), Germany, is inviting applications for a

Project Staff Position (f/m/d)

The position will be available to start as soon as possible and will be fixed term for an initial period of 1 year

starting with date of employment. The position is part time (50%). Remuneration will be based on the

collective

agreement for the public service of German federal states (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst der

Länder, TV-L).

Duties/responsibilities:

- Development of new Bioprinters including software and hardware

- Responsibilities for the bioprinting infrastructure including maintenance, calibration and updating of existing printers

- Supervision of printers

- Inductions to new staff

Qualifications:

- A masters degree in biology, engineering, robotics, mechatronics or related subjects

- Experience with development of 3D printers

- Experience with 3D Bioprinting

- Knowledge with software and hardware for 3D Bioprinting

- Experience with CAD Drawing

- Programming skills in Java, C, C++
