Innere Medizin - Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1530 Elucidation and targeting of pathogenic mechanisms in B cell malignancies, Research Project B01 (Dr. Laura Beckmann, Prof. Michael Hallek)

TV-L: 38,5 h/week (100%)

Your profile

A completed university degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field Basic computational skills are desirable Previous training and hands-on experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques; experience with animal experimentation is desirable A solid understanding of immunology and the molecular mechanisms underlying oncology Proficiency in English A high level of motivation, genuine curiosity, and enthusiasm for translational research, complemented by strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a ability and commitment to work within

Your future in detail

We are looking for a PhD for a fully-funded (DFG) basic/translational science project on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of the microenvironment in chronic lymphocytic leukemia. This project is embedded into the collaborative research center (CRC) 1530 – 'Elucidation and targeting of pathogenic mechanisms in B cell malignancies' and will be co-mentored by Dr. Laura Beckmann and Prof. Michael Hallek.
