Your tasks

• You tailor your communication, relationships and counselling to each individual and bring your own personality to the role
• Through practical experience, you will learn to look after, care for and support people of all ages who require care
• Youll learn about the latest findings in nursing science
• You are a valuable part of the future of care

What you bring

Intermediate school leaving certificate or technical college entrance qualification, or lower secondary school leaving certificate with completed vocational training

Good health

• An interest in vocational training and working in a variety of care settings
• Curiosity, openness and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with others
• Minimum age at the start of the training programme: 17 years
• German language proficiency at B2 level, acquired in German-speaking countries

What we offer you

• Weekly working hours: 38.5 hours per week
• Annual leave: 30 days
• Up to 2 days additional annual leave
• An interesting apprenticeship and a state-recognised vocational qualification in a sector with a bright future
• Personalised support from practical trainers and a training coordinator
• One trainee event per year (e.g. rock climbing, canoeing, sailing)
• An apprenticeship allowance in line with the collective agreement
• Accommodation in halls of residence close to the clinic (where possible)
• The opportunity to study Applied Nursing Science at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Freiburg over 9 semesters whilst undertaking your apprenticeship
• Start dates: 1 April, 1 August and 1 October each year
