About Sarcoma Patient Advocacy Global Network (SPAGN).

The Sarcoma Patient Advocacy Global Network (SPAGN) is the international network of currently 80 national patient advocacy groups focused on sarcomas.

Together, we provide a strong and influential international patient voice. We empower and support one another while working in partnership with leading sarcoma experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry partners and other stakeholders to advance research, improve treatment and care, and increase awareness of sarcoma among policymakers and the public.

Our passion for collaboration across borders drives us to create meaningful change for people affected by sarcoma worldwide.

We are looking for a Communications & Content Manager

An experienced communications professional with strong project management skills who can help strengthen SPAGNs visibility, engagement and impact globally.

Your tasks:

Plan, create and coordinate communication content, including social media content, website articles, newsletters, blog content, visual assets and graphics, and occasional print materials such as brochures, roll-ups, posters and other promotional materials.

Lead the planning and implementation of SPAGNs annual Sarcoma Awareness Month campaign, working closely with the Board, Executive Director, Project Manager, member organisations and other contributors.

Manage SPAGNs social media presence, including content planning, regular posting, audience engagement and performance monitoring.

Work closely with the Project Manager on the development and maintenance of SPAGNs website, newsletters and other digital communication platforms to ensure alignment with SPAGNs communications strategy and priorities.

Support and coordinate SPAGNs blog team, including content planning, editorial guidance, contributor engagement and publication scheduling.

Identify opportunities to increase SPAGNs visibility, reach and engagement among patients, advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers, industry partners and policymakers.

Support communication and information exchange with SPAGN member groups and contribute to member engagement initiatives.

Your qualification and experience:

3–5+ years of experience in a communications, communications management, public relations or related role, ideally within healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, a communications agency, a non-profit organisation, or patient advocacy.

Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies across multiple channels.

Demonstrated project management experience, including coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders.

Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills.

Experience creating visual communication materials and working with design tools such as Canva (or similar platfo
