📝 About the Role

CBM Global is embarking on a change process called Building Together which seeks to:

Accelerate the shifting of power to our partners and project participants.

Increase the impact of our work

Generate efficiencies in our systems and ways of working

Core to this change, the organisation is aiming to evolve the roles it plays as an international NGO to focus on those roles where we add the most value in our work alongside our partners and which enable the power shift we are seeking. Alongside this, in our country level work we are seeking to shift away from a deep seated project based approach, towards an approach that seeks to facilitate programmatic, systems level change.

We will initially pilot these new ways of working in two countries before planning a wider role out. During these pilots we will:

Explore further the new roles we can play as an international NGO and sharpen / refine these, before a wider roll out.

Develop our programmatic approach and develop initial systems level programmes that align with this approach.

Develop learning products, guidance and tools for use by teams within CBM Global when we roll out our approach more widely.

Explore and review the roles and responsibilities of different teams within CBM Global and develop efficient systems, processes and procedures related to aspects of programme oversight and management.

Assess the capacity of teams within CBM Global to undertake the revised roles and responsibilities and determine changes required within teams to undertake these new roles in the future.

Towards the end of the pilots, we will then develop a roll out plan, which building upon the learning will map out the wider roll out across all CBM Global teams.

The proposed change process will be complex and will impact on many different teams and entities across CBM Global. The Transformation Manager will lead and coordinate this work. They will be required to gain an in-depth understanding of current ways of working; identify changes needed; design and lead a change process; and directly deliver key tasks within it, whilst also coordinating tasks undertaken by relevant teams a
